SUGGESTIONS have unveiled their dark green third kit for the 2022-23 season with a nod to Southampton’s aviation history.

The strip follows last month’s reveal of a white and red home shirt and a sea-inspired away kit.

Created in partnership with hummel, the new Saints third suit honors the city’s rich aviation history and its connections to the RAF.

The dark green and black shirt features a delicately detailed design, referenced by the propeller, which debuted again in the campaign, Bold is Brave.

The shirt has four stripes on the sides, yellow, white, red and blue, inspired by the RAF Roundel.

This ensemble is teamed with dark green shorts and green and black socks, while the socks also feature four stripes inspired by the RAF Roundel.

Sarah Batters, Saints director of marketing & partnerships, said: “We’re excited to launch our third piece of clothing, with this shirt we wanted to showcase the city’s connection to the city. RAF.

“Working with hummel has allowed us to be creative and celebrate that in the design of the jersey.”

Like last season, this season’s kits are made with Eco8 material made from fabric created from recycled plastic bottles.

For home and away, the Saints will release a third shirt as an NFT. A fan will be able to own the original digital design of the kit, combined with the first physical shirt off the production line.
