Jack Wilshere believes Cristiano Ronaldo is one of two players who can react strongly when being substituted.
Rangnick talks about MU’s reaction when being substituted
Interim Manchester United manager Ralf Rangnick made the decision to replace the Portuguese star in the 70th minute against Brentford. The Portuguese superstar reacted strongly with a grumpy attitude. His actions have sparked a lot of criticism.
However, speaking on talkSPORT, Wilshere defended the MU player: “I don’t mind about it. It’s Ronaldo. There are probably only two players in the world who can do that, have that reaction and you. It’s clearly one of them.”
“He’s frustrated because he didn’t score and he went out and talked to the manager. I don’t like it when players are substituted and say on the bench: ‘Why did he send me off? ?”, I’ve played with players like that and I’d rather have them say directly to the coach: ‘What’s going on?'”
Ronaldo and Manchester United will return to the pitch tonight when they host West Ham to Old Trafford. West Ham under David Moyes is not an easy opponent to play, this season they are competing for tickets to the Champions League. Currently, the London team is ranked 4th in the table, 2 points higher than the Red Devils.
